This is the healing Jesus came to give all of our families! Ancestral sin is what has caused turmoil and chaos since the beginning of time in Scripture yet we seem to ignore it as a society, sweeping many of these sins under the rug until they come raging out. Breaking the cycle requires full surrender to Christ so that the Holy Spirit may be our guide rather than ourselves. We have a sovereign God whom’s grace is abounding and His mercies are new each day, whom gave us His One and only Son so that we may be free of all sin- past, present and future, and the only way to true healing is through repentance and surrender to Him.. I find leading our children in the teachings of Jesus is key to giving them a solid foundation to build upon. Showcasing humility through sharing our sin struggles and how we overcome with the only Way out from temptation, Jesus, brings healing and builds trust. Thus, leading the family back into the generational blessing that God has promised to us all through Jesus!

My children are adults and I’m still trying to figure out how to communicate my story with them (generally, they know I grew up in a horrible family to explain lack of presence of grandparents). Would appreciate prayers as I’m working on writing about my story so I can find a way to communicate it to my kids and others.
